so where my art stands... i do not consider gruuthaagy as being part of any particular scene. it is just that i built my art mostly on negative emotions and sheer bitterness, which are all present in my daily life. and instead of leting my demons to completelly destroy me, i give 'em freedom through my art. not trying to be the most evil artist around or your freak of the week, i just follow what bakunin once wrote that "the urge to destroy is also a creative urge". no extreme right here, no middle class hippy dogmas, no liberal easy enterteinment, no childish games of being against political correctness just for the sake of it. gruuthaagy does not need any trends so that i may fit in, i just give my own frustrations the space they need and they alone inspire the musick that i choose to give back to the world. gruuthaagy means gruuthaagy, no other word, no other meaning.

Beyond The Black Ocean is the new project by K.E.Lunsford (WitchHouse Records). Inner twining the balance of his love for Space Ambient Drift & Soundscape melodies, K.E.Lunsford sets out to prove that he’s one of the leading Drift/Soundscape artists in the genre date. Not only utilizing the ambience as a sound structure but also telling a story with it too. In turn is one of the more important aspects of what ambient music is all about.

Total System Failure began in 2005 as an audio experiment by Vinnie
Paternostro. The object was to use the saxophone
as a tone generator by running it through a series of guitar effects. A
Roland 505 added a backdrop of drones and
frequency sweeps. The intent was to create psychedelic music in a completely
improvised context, mistakes and all, to individualize the songs.
The songs were set in one key, and where recorded in one take without
interruption. The 6 song experiment was pressed to
CDr and around 200 copies where distributed. The self titled release was
featured in Bad Acid magazine Tab 4 (UK).
For the next installation, Jay Reeve was added into the mix to bring live
audio manipulation into play.
Loops where still utilized, but real time manipulations added a more moving
back drop to manic sax squeals and howls.
Jay took over the final mix down production.The result was a harsher, denser
sound quality which became the second full length
recording, "The Frozen Hour", released in 2007 on the Black Noise label.
Total System Failure remains dedicated to the idea of imperfect improvised
recordings, the abuse of delays, the misuse of instrumentation,
and utter abandon of the "right way" to make music.
The survival of an idea is an inherant truth. Once born there is only one way out. Is the road between already predetermined? This is void of escape. Every chance is one chance. Every opportunity is one opportunity *glitch* cough. While you were asleep you were being watched. Expect more.

Owen Keegan was born in a college town in Massachusetts, but eventually he was brought down to Atlanta, GA, for an education in manners and urban sprawl. He started learning the guitar and writing music as a response to chronic loneliness. Because of this isolated form of musical exploration, he is extremely shy about performing in front of others, and has an unusually intense style of performance, which doesn't lend itself well to exhibition. For this reason, Owen has mainly focused his efforts at sharing his music via recorded versions of his songs, which typically end up being of fairly poor quality - Owen is much more of a dreamer than a technician. The majority of songs he is willing to allow other humans to listen to were written during his years attending the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. Owen is much less lonely these days, and as a consequence, he doesn't write much music anymore.
